  • Special features regarding teaching
    Large college of 13 legal professors that covers all legal areas of the degree programme with a high level of expertise. Elements of research-based learning enable students to successfully complete foreign and domestic Master's programmes. This enables a relatively large number of students to do their doctorate at different universities.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    The curriculum requires enrolment in English-taught courses of at least 12 ECTS. As for the programme, it should be noted that the 6th subject semester in particular is ideal for a mobility window for a semester or work placement abroad. The course collaborates closely with the University of Bradford, particularly with joint student seminars
  • Exchange universities for stay abroads
    EDHDC Business School Nice Campus, Frankreich; Lakehead University Santa Bay, Kanada; Limerick University, Irland; Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, China; Universidad de Cadiz Campus Jerez, Spanien.
  • Special features regarding the equipment
    PC workstations and Internet: campus-wide WiFi access and 1,500 network connections, around 70 central PC workstations; all PC workstations have high-speed Internet access; university library: open daily, also on weekends, access to relevant databases (especially JURIS and Beck Online) also possible from home, loan options for tablet PCs.
  • Special features regarding research and development
    All professors of the programme regularly publish in journals and books. Initial relevant third-party funded projects have been acquired. The research activities of the university on questions of consumer research and sustainable consumption are bundled in the Centre for Consumer Research and Sustainable Consumption (vunk). It is characterised by a high level of interdisciplinarity.
  • Support for founders
    The GründerWERK offers professional advice (also for the promotion of start-ups) and various curricular and extracurricular formats of entrepreneurship education and is part of a strong internal and external start-up network. The futureLab is available for questions regarding the development of digital business models. The goal is to promote entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as support in developing innovative business ideas and models up to market maturity.

    The course collaborates closely with the University of Bradford, particularly with joint student seminars The university offers Master's degrees for graduates of the Business Law course, particularly in the areas of Auditing and Tax Consultancy, as well as information systems. International accreditation by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), national accreditation by AQAS e.V. Signatory University of the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) of the UN.
