Special features regarding teachingScientifically based university degree in Business Law and Business Administration with great practical relevance; large range of languages; English modules can be taken; small study groups; in the LL.B. Possibility to create an individual profile by choosing from 4 legal and 9 business specialisations; mandatory internship or study abroad semester; in the LL.M. Choice of 3 main areas of study (International Taxation and Accounting, Human Resource Management and Labour Law, Advertising Law); opportunities for stays abroad (e.g. Summer Universities).
Special features regarding the international orientationThe international focus of the Economic and Social Sciences faculty allows all students to gain international experience. A semester abroad can be integrated into the 5th semester in the Business Law course (LL.B.). In addition, there are numerous language courses in Spanish, French, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese, Polish and German as a foreign language.

Special features regarding the equipmentThe campus offers various IT rooms with the latest technology and comprehensive coverage with WIFI. There are two language laboratories, also for self-learning phases, and projector, transmission and internet technology are also available in the rooms. The library has numerous online databases that can also be used in the learning landscapes and from home via the VPN client. In addition, there are special laboratories, such as the logistics and simulation labs.
Special features regarding research and developmentResearch support from the faculty, for example research semesters, targeted exemptions for third-party funding applications and for successful publications; continuous use of start-up funding for research from university pool; externally funded research professorships; externally funded doctoral college; participation in the internal doctoral college; externally funded research priorities; internally funded internal research priorities; business cooperation in the creation of theses.
Support for foundersThe founders' service is the central contact point for all members of the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. This includes: Business coaching, support with concessions and approvals, development of a business plan, funding advice, support for the financing and development of a business model and support with the organisation of events.
Other special featuresPersonal and intensive supervision of the students by lecturers and course coordinators. Thanks to the cooperation with the university, city and district of Osnabrück, there are a variety of sporting and cultural offers that can be easily reached from the campus. The faculty specifically promotes the internationalisation, digitalisation and application orientation of the degree programs. It supports in maintaining health, for example through mindfulness and health training. Social engagement is made possible by the support of numerous student initiatives.
