Special features regarding teachingIn teaching, the necessary "basic skills" for future computer scientists are comprehensively taken into account; from the very beginning, emphasis is placed on practical implementation in laboratory exercises. Building on this, the second stage of the course offers more advanced courses in future-oriented areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, IT security, the Internet of Things, virtuality, mobile and geo applications, and others. The specialisations particularly address these and other future topics in computer science. Many of the teaching staff are also active in externally funded research.
