    The university has partnerships with 74 universities in 33 countries (primarily in Europe). The exchange and recognition of modules is promoted. The computer science department is setting up a double degree programme via the DHIK with the Tec de Monterrey.

    Business Academy South West, Dänemark; Lucian Blage University, Rumänien; Universidad de Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid; Mahidol University College, Thailand
  • Special features regarding the equipment
    Outstanding and newly equipped laboratories for databases, GIS, mobile systems and robotics as well as IT security; Many newly equipped virtualized computer cabinets also for self-study; Lecture halls and seminar rooms with modern media and presentation technology.

    start-ups are supported in various ways: Events/workshops on idea and business concept development; formats designed to bring together students of technical disciplines with business administrators and other disciplines. Once a year, a 3-day event – Innovation Days – is organised where all necessary steps are explained and presented by experts, from idea generation to business plan. Students and external experts host the state-government-funded EGO Summer Academy for female school students

    The disabilities representative of the university is available to students who need advice. Examination adjustments/support, such as extending time allowed for examinations, substituting one type of examination for another, possibility of taking breaks during an examination or sitting the examination in a separate room.

    The contacts are the equality officers of the university and the departments. The aim is to attract more female students and support the departments in the process. Work placements and research weeks are offered as part of advertising. The equal opportunity officer is a member of the department executive committee and the appointments commission. There are various projects in support of equality and continuing education events. The ESF-funded state programme FEM-Power includes a doctoral post for women in Informatics.

    Degree in Computer Science at a small campus university with a high practical relevance. Practical requirements are continually taken into account by the Computer Science advisory board when designing the courses on offer.
