The research departments ( Automotive Industry, Cooperation Studies, Information Technology in the Property Industry, Cities and Real Estate, Health Economics, Modern Management Development, Sustainable Property Management, Corporate Governance) employ students for projects. The research results are incorporated directly into the teaching. The institutes have numerous contacts with partners from the fields of research and industry, and teachers.

There have been around 210 start-ups in the last 10 years.
