    Interactive teaching takes place in small groups. All assistant professors have comprehensive practical experience, which they apply to their courses. Active learning is encouraged through participation, projects, presentation and other didactic methods.

    High proportion of international students and assistant professors (32% in the 2014/15 winter semester), students from over 60 nations; International elements in the curriculum of all courses, 5 of 6 programmes (including DBA) can be studied in English only; Compulsory stays abroad (work placement, semester abroad); International dual-degrees in Master IB and Master SBC.

    In the major (Master IB) International Entrepreneurship, students are prepared specifically for all topics revolving around entrepreneurship: From the idea and development of the business model and search for investors as well as pitch to the establishment and management of a new company; Option to participate in ZGI, the workshop of the Social Entrepreneurship Academy, in cooperation with the university.

    In implementing equalisation of disadvantages measures, the university is guided by the findings of the experts' workshop "Equal opportunities in the Bologna process for students with disabilities and chronic health problems" and by the recommendations of the Barrier-Free University Alliance, as well as the Higher Education Act and the Higher Education Act of Bavaria. Equalisation of disadvantages is governed by the General Examination Regulations and refers to admissions as well as workload, study progress and exam achievements.
