    Study books are offered for a large number of modules; scientific training with practical relevance; Economics part broadly designed to qualify for work in medium-sized companies; intensive use of new forms of teaching and learning, portfolio exams, small groups, interdisciplinary modules, internships and semesters abroad; theory semester, interdisciplinary content; broad focus on professional competence, methodological competence, self and social competence.

    In-house professorship for "International Management", suitable for the "International Management" course with a mandatory internship phase abroad and an English-language examination section (international project work). Organise international partner days.

    Teaching and learning take place in pleasant new or very well renovated buildings. The equipment of all seminar rooms and lecture halls allows the use of various media (projectors, screens, boards, smartboards, document cameras). The laboratories include state-of-the-art technology. Several PC pool rooms are available to students. The university buildings are equipped with WiFi. Numerous study areas are available. The library has access to extensive literature, including through an online library network.

    The university's profile is also characterised by strong application relevance in research (including the DFG) and intensive cooperation with industry and other partners. Since small and medium-sized companies often cannot operate sufficient R&D departments, the university, as the "research laboratory" of these companies, makes an important contribution to the development of the region. In addition, the research serves the purpose of continuously updating the curriculum and provides interesting fields of work for the students as within the framework of projects and theses.
  • Support for founders
    In the Entrepreneurship professorship, the Faculty has an institutionally anchored contact point that ensures the curricular integration of entrepreneurship-oriented modules and extracurricular awareness for supporting start-ups and innovation projects. There are events on the subject of start-ups, business idea workshops are offered at regular intervals, in which students can develop their own business ideas, and there is also a co-working space with the founding laboratory, which is run by students Can be used for start-up and innovation projects.

    Many students receive scholarships, many in the cooperative model (scholarship coupled with work in the company during the semester break); individual advice to students through career centres and lecturers; coordinated schedule of hours and exams for all courses.
