    The Faculty regularly conducts experiments with students in behavioural economics (experimental lab with 30 places). These experiments provide students with insights into current research. Creation of virtual enterprise platforms for improved professional qualification of graduates (programme of the State of NRW). Improvement of corporate governance and management of SMEs.

  • Support for founders
    Compulsory preparation of a detailed business plan by students for a business idea of their choice, possible start-up or preparation for the takeover of an existing company. The course ends with a competition where the business plans need to be defended in front of jury of entrepreneurs. The Faculty creates conditions for information exchange and networking with entrepreneurs who offer further support for start-up projects.
  • Characteristics of diversity advancement
    Training in course and time management, personal skills, academic work and writing, women professors’ programme, course pioneers, part-time possible, mother-child rooms, support for single mothers and fathers (daycare), care-giving assistance.
