-
Special features regarding teachingThe Industrial Engineering degree course is taught across three faculties (Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics) in almost equal parts, with approx. 110 professors. This means that professors with exceptional specialist knowledge are available for each subject and that the resources are always available to bring expertise into teaching. This also allows a great variety of required elective courses, which can be selected by students.
-
Special features regarding the equipmentThe Industrial Engineering degree course uses all laboratory resources for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration courses. These laboratories are so extensive that a degree in just Economics would not do justice to this expert knowledge and these facilities, in particular the expensive laboratories for Robotics, High Voltage Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Automation in Production, Combustion Engineering, Power Electronics, etc.
-
Special features regarding research and developmentThe research takes place in the three departments and is not directly assigned to the course; Industrial Engineering students take part in this research without these activities and results being attributed to the course
