Special features regarding the international orientationMulti-level internationalisation strategy: Short-term study exchanges with Ireland and South Africa to establish an international orientation at the start of the studies, international seminars in Europe for academic internationalisation in the second year, funding for studies and/or work placement for outgoing students in the third year. For internationalisation at home, English-taught courses, cross-cultural training and international comparative subject-specific seminars are offered. Language courses and subsidisation of adult education courses. Option for certificate.

Support for foundersThe Master’s programme teaches and tests basic skills as part of a module on business start-ups and professional independence. All students create a start-up concept and financial plan. Interested students can attend the HAWK start-up seminars and thus build a start-up-relevant network and test their business plans.
