Research in the field of Business Informatics is closely linked issues relating to business administration. By considering practical issues, current topics in Business Informatics are raised, in particular: Business Process Management and Corporate Management, IT Security in Company Management, IT as "enabler for new business models", Big Data Analysis and Marketing, Web 2.0, Social Media and Knowledge Management of Companies, Gender and IT.
Support for founders
At the Start-up Incubator Berlin of HWR, students can take their first steps from theory to implementation. It promotes ideas, concepts and prototypes. The co-working space allows for exchange with other founders and thus supports inspiration, creativity and the development of business models. The “Start-up Now” programme offers workshops, coaching, team matching, peer learning and mentors. It is aimed at everyone at the beginning of their start-up project or who have already progressed to the active start-up phase.
