Special features regarding teachingInterdisciplinary division of the model course into four study sections; Learning spiral; Organ-focused teaching subjects; Practical focus from the 1st semester; Pre-clinical and clinical phases are linked; From 3rd semester: interdisciplinary system blocks with clinical diagnosis courses/ patient contact; From 7th semester: block practicals in all clinical disciplines. Characteristics of diversity advancementThe HIP tool (How I Perform) is a comprehensive, individualised student mentoring programme that gives students feedback on their current performance based on course grades and progress test results. This tool is offered through an online platform. Various performance reviews give the best and also lower-achieving students feedback on their individual academic situation. We have also launched the TANDEMmed, TANDEMpeerMED and TANDEMplusMED programmes to especially attract young women scientists.
