Other special featuresBased on the successful acquisition of collaborative projects, the Faculty of Medicine has defined five substantive research priorities: Immunosciences and Infection, Neurosciences, Cardiovascular Sciences, Oncology and Genetics and Epidemiology. In close cooperation with the University Hospital, the Medical Faculty has developed the two profile areas Immunopathogenesis and Organ Dysfunction and Brain and Neurodegeneration. Both profile areas are part of the university's transdisciplinary core profile area "Life&Health".
