Special features regarding teachingThrough the above-mentioned structure of the model degree course and beyond, studying in Düsseldorf is also characterised by the advantages of a campus university: All clinics, institutes, institutions are within a short distance. In the centre of these is the O.A.S.E., an attractive learning and communication centre with integrated special library, e-learning room, numerous study rooms and workstations and the departmental student organisation. The training centre for medical skills is also close by. Numerous e-learning programmes facilitate individual learning.

Special features regarding the international orientationThe Medical Faculty has strong international networks in the field of research. It maintains numerous Erasmus partnerships in the interests of the students. Together with the International Office of the University there is an officer in the Dean of Studies Office who is the contact person for incoming and outgoing students. Especially for starting studies in Düsseldorf, the Faculty for International Students has developed a mentoring programme and subject tutorials.
