  • Special features regarding teaching
    In winter semester 20/21 and summer semester 21, the faculty is conducting a pilot project on telemedicine in teaching, in which intensive care patients are integrated into teaching via telemedical equipment, so that students can be trained close to the patient even in times of pandemic. If the project is successful, a permanent integration into the curricular teaching is aimed at.
  • Arrangements of special exercises at the department
    The faculty has a skills lab. Guided courses are offered in which students can learn various examination techniques on models or with/on each other. Tutors receive appropriate training to be able to lead the courses. Models and examinations from various subjects are available, e.g. resuscitation, ventilation, gynaecological and rectal examination, catheter placement, blood sampling, ENT and eye examination, orthopaedic examination, physical examination, auscultation, suture and knot courses, communication and much more.
