  • Special features regarding teaching
    The preclinical training takes place in a joint faculty with biology, which results in many points of contact with natural science degree courses (biology, biochemistry). The Faculties of Medicine and Biology and Preclinical Medicine offer the joint degree course "Molecular Medicine". Special offers for students include the Student Education and Training Center StATUR, an online learning portal and supplementary offers for self-directed learning. Furthermore, there is a well-stocked partial library of medicine as well as a textbook collection available.

    In the preclinical phase, individual practice opportunities and self-study are offered in addition to compulsory practical courses. In the clinical area, the skills lab medicine and the acting patient programme are an integral part of the practical training.
