    Clinical and experimental research in Endodontology: establishment, characterisation and preventive therapeutic influences of dental biofilms; uses of modern imaging techniques (e.g. micro CT, DVT); survival times of implants, the processes after implantation as well as clinical performance are analysed and evaluated; modern S1 and S2 labs with fluorescence microscope, basic cell biology research in regenerative medicine.

    Gaining new insights in diagnostic, therapy and prevention of disease processes which are to the benefit of the patients, didactically trained teaching staff (MQ I/II, Master of Medical Education courses); traditional events to improve the learning environment and exchange between lecturers and students (e.g. Christmas celebration, football tournaments, summer BBQ, etc.); joint "Teaching Day" in the Medical Faculty with all related courses; student day for school students and prospective students.
