Special features regarding research activitiesThe Collaborative Research Centre (SFB) 1357, located at the University of Bayreuth: "Microplastics - regularities of formation, transport, physico-chemical behaviour and biological effects. From Model to Complex Systems as a Basis for New Approaches" explores the formation, migration and effects of microplastics and develops new approaches to solving this immense environmental problem.
