  • Special features regarding teaching
Teaching takes place in close cooperation between academics and experts in the field of university teaching methods. Teaching is continuously evaluated, and prizes awarded and support provided for outstanding teaching and new forms of teaching. Teaching is research-oriented. For the development of new teaching methods, a specialist teaching tandem programme was initiated with a representative from higher education didactics and a lecturer. Biology teaching at the KIT has been awarded a prize by external experts (teaching award of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, fellowship of the association of sponsors).
