Support for foundersVarious activities and programmes are provided to assist students with questions relating to start-ups, including: TRACE programme: Cooperation of the FH and RWTH Aachen with AC.E e.V. to support students who are interested in setting up their own business; EXIST Business Start-up Grant; Entrepreneurship seminar series: Experienced founders answer individual questions of their student counterparts; Transfer Office & Career Service support students who intend to become self-employed; PatentScout: Students can plan the best way to realise their projects in confidential talks with a patents officer

Characteristics of assistance to differently abled personsThe aim is to compensate for health impairments as effectively as possible with suitable forms of assistance. The arrangement indicated in each case is determined in close coordination with all bodies involved (e.g. equality representative, examinations office, etc.) and based on medical recommendations. Assistance may take the form of a student assistant or reasonable adjustments for examinations. Students can obtain free and confidential advice at the Center for Mental Health. There is also a representative for students with disabilities or chronic conditions.
