    Newly created School of Life Sciences (10.2020) allows access to broad expertise, creating broad study opportunities; three research departments (Molecular Life Sciences, Life Science Systems, Life Science Engineering. Co-op. with Helmholtz Centre; supervision of lecturers by TUM ProLehre; wide range of general education subjects by Munich Centre of Technology and Society; Carl Von Linde Academy; UnternehmerTUM; Language Centre; Limnological Station with guest house; lecturers with high international reputation (h-index, international co-operations). Many new appointments.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    High number of partner universities for student exchange; students almost always get a place at the university of their choice; uncomplicated crediting of modules taken externally. Many international research partnerships at chair and faculty level (e.g. INRA, Hebrew University Jerusalem).

    Large-scale research projects: Collaborative Research Centre SFB924; Collaborative Research Centre SFB1371; BayKlimaFit; EIT Food.
