Special features regarding the equipmentSeveral humanoid robots, smartphones, tablets, development environments based on Eclipse ADT Plugin/PhoneGap/Xnode/Visual Studio; Study centre for personality development with 70” multi-touch monitors; MINT workshop for interdisciplinary projects; Communications and network technology laboratory: Cisco router, Etherreal, LANguard, network security scanner, single-board computer; Information technology lab: Special measuring devices, logic analyser, spectrum analyser etc. All VL and lab rooms in computer engineering are equipped with a high-resolution sympodium.

Other special featuresThe Computer Science courses cooperate closely with the subject-related areas of the university: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. The topics are "Virtual Reality", "Mobile Computing (Augmented Reality)" "Robotics"," Production Simulation", "Industry 4.0" and "IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Management". The IT courses are also heavily involved in the cross-university and cross-state research project Open C³S. The research results are directly incorporated into the study programmes and enhance these in the long term.
