  • Special features regarding teaching
    Bachelor of Nursing: The teaching in the course is based on university teaching, curricular reflections, which include a Nursing Science orientation, a critical understanding of education and the support of research-based learning. As a vocational qualification is integrated in the dual degree course, numerous professional situations are at the centre of case-based work; Nursing Care Management: The seminars combine the respective relevant theoretical knowledge with the professional demands placed on the future young managers in future professional environments.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Since it was founded in 2004, the Bachelor's degree in Nursing has had international networks and is a part of the Florence Network (Network of Nursing and Midwifery), this includes the participation of lecturers and students in annual conferences with different key areas (e.g. ethical issues). Since 2008, the degree course has been a member of the ENNE Network (European Network of Higher Nursing Education). The objective is to promote cross-cultural skills through the teaching and learning methods of problem-oriented learning (POL).
