  • Special features regarding teaching
    The main focus in teaching is the high degree of practice-oriented courses with project character. Thus, already in the basic studies of the Bachelor, projects are worked on in teams, whereby the teams initially consist of two and later of up to five persons.

  • Special features regarding the equipment
    Excellently equipped computer rooms; modern media technology; very good network infrastructure; support for online lectures; access to university-owned systems via thin client software; own cloud.
  • Special features regarding research and development
    There are research projects on automated correction of free text assignments in Moodle.
  • Support for founders
    The M4_Lab supports the transfer of research and study results into practice, furthermore there are EXIST teams for the promotion of start-ups at the HFT, quite topically event: Plan G - Become a Startup in Eight Weeks!

    The university is located in the centre of Stuttgart and is therefore optimally positioned in terms of sustainability (accessibility). It is also a model university of the state of Baden-Württemberg for supplying university buildings with renewable energy.
