  • Special features regarding the equipment
The Institute for Pharmacy and Food Chemistry has been accommodated in a new building since 2009. Next door to the research laboratories are modern equipped rooms for practicals available for the students, which are used already in stage I studies. As part of project work, students are given the opportunity to utilise the most modern analytical large-scale items of equipment in all areas.
  • Characteristics of assistance to differently abled persons
Individual solutions to support students are discussed and implemented in close cooperation with the KIS (Contact and information office for students with disabilities and/or chronic conditions) of the University of Würzburg.
  • Other special features
The academic chairs in the Pharmacy department are established in three faculties in Würzburg: the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, the Faculty of Biology and the Faculty of Medicine. This enables outstanding interaction opportunities and contact involvement with Chemistry, Biology and Medicine in teaching and research.
