Special features regarding teachingA particular aim of our teaching is, on the one hand, to prepare students for practice, but also at the same time to teach them theoretical foundations so they can recognise and understand deeper connections. This is achieved through interactive courses which include the students, and through the correct combination of theoretical and practical exercises. In addition, there is a very good contact between lecturers and students, which always leads to further improvements to the teaching.
Special features regarding the international orientationBilateral agreements with 12 partner universities in other European countries. In research, intensive networking with top scientists worldwide, international cooperation in the context of EU programmes, projects of the ESF and the DAAD and with award winners funded by the Humboldt Foundation.
