Application and practice-oriented: A large number of laboratories and strong networking with companies bring learning content to life. Special features regarding research and developmentDue to the continuous increase in research activities over the past few years, there are extensive opportunities for participation in these projects (project work, theses). The ever-growing number of doctoral students and post-docs ensures that their own work is up to date and directly supported. Research and teaching are closely interlinked: Publishing your own work and attending conferences to present it is encouraged by the faculty.

Support for foundersReutlingen University supports students from the initial idea through planning to direct assistance with start-ups and the launch of a company. This is done on an interdisciplinary basis. Specialists from the IHK are regularly on campus, have a permanent office here and offer advice and support. The department supports all of these university-wide activities, including through offerings within its own courses. Training, consulting and special events on the topic of StartUPs, such as the StartUP Night, are also bundled and coordinated in the Centre for Entrepreneurship.
