Special features regarding the equipmentFive PC centres: 3 parts teaching (including ArcGIS, Erdas Imagine, SPSS, MatLab, NaSiM) and 2 parts project work; 5 sediment labs (2 mills, muffle furnaces, centrifuges, sieve analysis, digestion system, microwave and Behrotest, sputtering units REM); 4 measuring rooms (measuring bench magnetic susceptibility, C-analysis Carmhograph, CHN+S-analyser, Photom, ICP-OES, RDA-Philips, mobile RFA, REM); Pollen lab; Various drilling machines; Hydraulic test flume; Various measuring devices (e.g. for hydrology, geomorphology, meteorology, soil science).
