Special features regarding teachingResearch at the geography institute is internationally oriented, and the teaching is also based on an internationalisation strategy. Since 2015, all degree courses have been offering regular English-language courses (for international visiting students), and in the winter semester 2017/18 the master's degree in physical geography was fully converted to English. The institute also provides students with intensive support in the planning and preparation of stays abroad and maintains teaching partnerships with universities in Europe, Morocco and Jordan (Erasmus) and the US.
