    The geo department in the TUM Faculty of Engineering Bau Geo Umwelt has top equipment with numerous modern laboratories, numerical laboratories, outdoor research facilities, large-scale equipment and access to the computer centre.

    All three departments Engineering Geology, Hydrogeology and Slope Movements/Alpine Natural Hazards maintain numerous international contacts and conduct research in international projects.
