Characteristics of diversity advancementThe services offered at the beginning of the degree programmes, the preliminary course, “Erklär-HiWis” and tutorials, also help students who have no source of specific knowledge or experience in their private social context. This is designed to lessen disadvantages associated with social background. Foreign students who are not yet familiar with the German higher education system also benefit from these provisions. The chemistry lab has a fume cupboard that is suitable for wheelchair users.
