Special features regarding teachingThe department’s geoinformatics considers itself as an applied computer science discipline. A special focus of the very practice-oriented degree courses is thus on teaching the design and development of (mobile and distributed) software systems for the solution of space-related issues. This is based on the teaching of the basics of surveying technology and the ability to understand space-related issues (e.g. in the area of sustainability) and to work on them using the latest geoinformatics technologies.
Common partner universities for exchangeUniversity of Zagreb, Kroatien; Wroclaw University of Technology, Polen; Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spanien; Université de Bourgogne Dijon, Frankreich; University of Gävle, Schweden
