  • Special features regarding teaching
    Master ANP with a focus on rehabilitation and prevention of long-term care needs as a unique feature in the German-speaking world.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Courses in English, faculty-related and comprehensive; FK13 elective subjects languages, intercultural competence, subject-specific medicine/nursing
  • Special features regarding the equipment
    Skills lab (nursing lab), media lab, simulation devices, use of the laboratories of other departments as part of interdisciplinary projects possible, e.g. mechatronics/construction. CINAHL database for nurses is provided.
  • Characteristics of assistance to differently abled persons
    Students with health impairments are given preferential treatment by Studentenwerk (student services) in the allocation of places in student accommodation (wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available). Basement parking spaces are available for students with disabilities or chronic conditions; it is also possible to extend library loan periods. Students with health impairments can also make use of reasonable adjustment arrangements for examinations or practical study semesters. A guide on studying with disabilities (“Studium und Behinderung”) is available to answer questions on all relevant topics.
  • Characteristics of diversity advancement
    The goal of work on equality at Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS) is to achieve actual equality of opportunity between women and men. At the Bavarian universities, the women’s officers are responsible for the academic side and the equal opportunity officers for the administrative side. Faculty women’s officers are available as neutral contact persons to help students on all issues, but especially with acute problems in the course of their studies. Each faculty has its own faculty women’s officer.
