Research at the institute is very well connected to international research groups. Research at the institute is internationally visible and is integrated into teaching.
Special features regarding the equipment
The institute has its own multi-functional sports hall and large outdoors facilities with a beach volleyball court. The sports facilities are located directly on site in the city of Rostock and can be reached easily. The university water sports facility at the Warnow offers the opportunity for sports such as canoeing, canoeing polo, sailing, rowing and surfing. Rented halls for track and field athletics, swimming, apparatus gymnastics and tennis are available the entire year. The institute also has the state-of-the-art technical facilities for research and teaching.
