    Engineering degree course, application-oriented focus in geoscience teaching. Project-based learning as an integral part of teaching and examinations.
  • Special features regarding research activities
    In the course of a rapidly growing world population and against the background of climate change, the applied geosciences are fulfilling an increasingly important role in our society, especially in the development of solutions. In the research projects of our faculty, intelligent solutions are developed for the protection of our living space (geohazards) with simultaneous use of the subsurface and its resources (water, energy, raw materials), also against the background of the challenges to cope with the effects of climate change.

    Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) at the TU Berlin supports people interested in starting a business. Innovation platform and coworking space EINS of the TU Berlin to support and develop start-ups.
  • Other special features
    The Mineralogical Collection of the Technical University of Berlin looks back on 250 years of history and is one of the five largest and mineralogically most important collections in the Federal Republic of Germany. The collections consist of a publicly accessible display collection, extensive collections on special mineralogy and mineral systematics, several subject-specific sub-collections, extensive teaching collections, as well as magazine collections.
