Support for foundersThe university supports business start-ups through a special start-up representative who is available for regular consultation. Business Administration has a separate specialisation in business start-ups/company succession. The subject of entrepreneurship is part both of teaching and research. Under the plans of the university and the Free State of Bavaria, a separate centre for digital business start-ups is to be established at the University of Hof in 2017/18. We expect more start-ups to emerge from the university as a result.
Characteristics of assistance to differently abled personsSeminar on exam coaching/stress prevention offered by external coaches and psychologists of the Oberfranken student union; Regular psychological counselling during office hours (approx. 6 times per semester); Relaxation room (with key access); Regular counselling by representative for disabilities; Standardised process for (voluntary) documentation of affected students; Recent installation of a wheelchair lift at the walkthrough to the cafeteria.
