Special features regarding teachingBroad and differentiated international networks in research/teaching, with special key areas in historical lexicology and etymology, multilingualism research, cross-culturalism and diversity research; International graduate school; Bi- and trinational degree courses, international research cooperation, especially with France, Canada and Senegal; the chair French literary studies in a European context, the professor is French and she also heads the Institut Français Saarbrücken, which is a distinctive feature.
