  • Special features regarding teaching
    Practice-oriented training, learning and working in small groups, practical English lessons throughout the Bachelor's degree course, can also be studied alongside career, specialisation options through the branch disciplines offered or in-depth study areas, active project-based learning: Bachelor's year project, students from different semesters work together on project tasks, up-to-date work placement topics through cooperation with many companies, numerous lecturers from industry.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Every year, teaching staff gain experience at foreign universities as part of staff mobility; student mobility supports degree courses (BA theses, placements, MA theses); incoming students are integrated into ongoing student projects; English Master's degree (Systems Design) enables international element of the degree course; teaching staff from abroad.
  • Special features regarding the equipment
    State-of-the-art equipment both in the basic laboratories (including for automated measurement technology) and in the specialist laboratories (e.g. modern industrial robots, some teaching in EMC laboratory/state-approved testing laboratory for EMC certifications) as well as modern lecture halls and computer rooms. This means that teaching is up to date and uses the latest teaching methods.

    Many partners in academic and industrial fields; numerous collaborations with companies in the country and abroad; industrial Master's thesis topics throughout; many current industry projects.
