  • Special features regarding teaching
    Ansbach University of Applied Sciences has a number of state-of-the-art laboratories and technical infrastructure that support teaching and cooperative research. Students use these when working on their degree courses, projects and theses as well as for the implementation of research projects. Daily work takes place in small groups. High practical orientation through a practical course semester, project work, involvement in research projects, device sponsorships, course-related internships and practical application examples in the courses
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    1) Partner universities abroad with mutual recognition of the respective curricula available worldwide. 2) Regular exchange through ‘summer schools’.
  • Special features regarding the equipment
    A total of 35 laboratories as well as freely accessible PC pools (24/7). Both the library and the individual degree programmes offer students free access to E-Books, international standards and databases. Numerous subject-specific software products are available as a campus licence.
  • Special features regarding research and development
    The Technology Department offers a wide range of competences and well-equipped laboratories to solve technical-scientific problems. The topics range from product development and plant operation to the highly topical subject areas of energy efficiency and renewable energies: Plastics Engineering; Product Design; Industrial Production; Biotechnology and Medical Technology; Renewable Energies; Sustainable Building; Computational science & engineering

    As a young university, Ansbach University of Applied Sciences offers a broad portfolio of courses of study – from classical studies in business administration to innovative courses of study in the fields of biotech, engineering, IT, AI, media and communication and through to modern forms of instruction and learning, such as blended learning, dual or part-time models.
