    Application-based learning and research as from stage I studies in small, intensively supervised work groups; research-based teaching prepares students for independent student research projects that are promoted as part of the university's own Humboldt Reloaded Programme or in projects in the Master's degree courses; the linking of all areas of Life Sciences fosters interdisciplinary thinking; compulsory modules for Bachelor's students in Introduction to Academic Work and Principles of Business Administration; English-language Master's degrees prepare for intern. careers.
