  • Special features regarding teaching
    The Bachelor's degree course in Business Consultancy offers practical professional training for business administrators. The first semesters provides solid fundamentals in business administration subjects and related subjects (economics, law, mathematics, statistics, IT, English), with a strong practical focus. Students specialise in 2 specialist areas according to their personal preferences in semesters 4-6. The workshops on personality development represent one of the highlights. Individualisation, electives, optional stays abroad, additional courses and promotion of excellence complete the course of study.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    To be prepared for the demands of an international and global economy and to enhance their personal range of experience, students are encouraged, as an option, to complete the 3rd semester at one of 80 partner universities. In addition, the compulsory work placement in the 6th semester can optionally be completed at a company abroad. The International Office supports the mobility of students; collaborations with international universities through joint instructional activities; lectures and presentations by international guest speakers.

    Research and development in the field of Business Administration is characterised by a close relation to practice and application. Concrete mandates from companies are just as important for R&D activities as current issues in field/subject-specific management practice and consulting practice within the framework of applied research.

    The aim of the new start-up centre at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt is to advise and support students with ideas about new companies in the start-up phase (start-up center); Science Lab (psycho physiological measurement method); Bloomberg Room; Harvard Room.
