  • Special features regarding teaching
In the laboratory of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, test benches for the subject areas of Materials Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Sensor and Actuator Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing and Assembly are installed in an area of approx. 500 square metres. The state-of-the-art laboratory ensures modern teaching in the fields of CAD, CAM, Simulation and Computer Science.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
International training is very important at the HRW. It is our aim that as many HRW students as possible have the opportunity to spend part of their studies abroad. This can, for example, be a semester abroad or work placement. We attach great importance to the quality of our partner institutions. The STEP.INternational programme offers a particular incentive to acquire international skills. The students can obtain a certificate which attests to special international commitment.
  • Common partner universities for exchange
Chinesisch Deutsche Technische Fakultät der QUST, Óbuda University, Nationale Technische Universität „Kiewer Polytechnisches Institut Ihor Sikorskyj", Istanbul Aydin University, Politecnico di Bari
