Special features regarding teachingThe Institute of Measurement and Sensor Engineering has research and teaching laboratories for measurement technology and automation engineering. The facilities are continuously expanding as part of the industry partnerships and provide a modern platform for collaboration between industry and university.

Special features regarding the international orientationInternational training is very important at the HRW. It is our aim that as many HRW students as possible have the opportunity to spend part of their studies abroad. This can, for example, be a semester abroad or work placement. We attach great importance to the quality of our partner institutions. The STEP.INternational programme offers a particular incentive to acquire international skills. The students can obtain a certificate which attests to special international commitment.
