    Imparting the ability to recognise economic patterns of thought and action, to analyse, interpret and prepare them in a target group-oriented manner using Business Administration and Engineering tools and methods; professional, methodical, socially competent action in a regional environment; apply interdisciplinary solutions to practical, economical-technical problems. Practical training; small learning groups and intensive exchange and support opportunities; interdisciplinary and innovative teaching / learning methods.
  • Special features regarding the international orientation
    Regular International Week with more than 30 foreign guest lectures; possibility of integrating a semester abroad; contacts with 180 partner universities.
  • Special features regarding the equipment
    Logistics laboratory in the House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM); PC laboratories (ERP); Self-assessment centre; self-learning centre; use of the Campus & HOLM.
  • Special features regarding research and development
    The faculty supports the application-oriented research and advisory activities of the professors. 6 research institutes are based at the faculty. These institutes form the platform for various research, development and further education activities of the faculty and are also a platform for the exchange with regional industry on the further development of the courses on offer. Latest research findings are presented to interested parties in so-called Brown Bag seminars.

    IFE = Institute for Entrepreneurship, Network Activities; practical representatives in seminars related to start-ups; conducts applied research on entrepreneurship; regular start-up related events with cooperation partners; contact person for Exist scholarships; orientation and content-related support of start-up / idea competitions, IFE start-up award, AppliedIdea idea competition; free advice for university-affiliated university members with the help of the cooperation partner Wirtschaftspaten e.V.
