Special features regarding teachingTeaching in the Bachelor's degree course and in both Master's degree courses concentrates on those sub-areas of human geography and physical geography, respectively, in which the scientists have proven their comparative strengths in publications and externally funded projects. For this reason, a deliberate attempt is made not to cover the entire breadth of geography with the resources of a medium-sized geography location, but to enable students to specialise as early as possible in certain sub-areas in which geography in Hannover is strong.
