    The degree courses Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology offer points of contact for research and development activities within existing key research areas of the university of applied sciences, such as: Pathology tissue engineering, personalised medicine, heterologous expression of biologics, peptide engineering, co-cultivation of microorganisms, inflammatory processes and sepsis modulation etc. Applied Chemistry deals with questions of synthetics in the field of natural product chemistry.
