    The degree course is mainly taught by professors from the Materials Science institute (FIB) of Bauhaus University. This means that there are many practicals in very well-equipped laboratories. Study and project work and Master's theses deal with real-life construction engineering tasks Causal research and material development are scientifically studied. The most state-of-the-art equipment is used for material analysis, some of which is unique in Europe.

    The F.A. Finger-Institute is an internationally recognised research and teaching institution with extensive international contacts and a high proportion of international students and staff. The institute is an international leader in the field of mineral building materials.
