Special features regarding teachingTutoring and mentoring system, exam discussion groups, evaluation of lectures, incentives awarded for particularly high-performing students (e.g. arrangement of work placements, continuous advice and coaching by academic advisor). Interdisciplinarity and strong research orientation are the unique features of the faculty compared to other economics departments.

Special features regarding the international orientationContinuous expansion of the English language courses; regular international guest lectures; foreign guest professors and lecturers; Implementation of English-language summer and winter schools in cooperation with foreign partners; development of a multidisciplinary, international alumni network; internationalisation of the Master’s courses (previously two fully English-language Master’s courses, more in planning); dual-degree course in planning.

Special features regarding the equipmentNumerous PC pools (including computer workstations equipped with SAP / R3, SPSS); computer lab media systems as well as own fabrication lab (equipped among other things with 3D printers, laser cutter, CNC milling machine and much more); access to databases such as EBSCO, ScienceDirect, springer-link, Iuris and many more.

Special features regarding research activitiesResearch into legal methods of governance and corporate taxation. Research focus areas in the field of Media and Immaterial Goods Law, International Economic Law, International Law, Investment Protection Law and Environmental Law.
