Special features regarding teachingUnderstanding of tasks, methods, processes and problem-solving approaches in the functional areas of companies, in particular in the fields of Marketing, Personnel Management, Procurement, Production and Logistics, Organisation, Accounting and Controlling; understanding of basic economic contexts; interdisciplinary aspects of management: Psychology, law and decision theory; fundamentals of quantitative methods for the management and control of companies; start-up management and business plan creation; management of corporate succession and takeovers.

Special features regarding the international orientationThe FH Kufstein in Tyrol sees itself as "The International University of Applied Sciences". Common aspects for all courses are the integration of foreign languages in the curriculum, a significant proportion of English-language specialist courses, at least one compulsory semester abroad (in the full-time Bachelor's programmes) and a study trip (for career-integrated Bachelor's and Master's programmes). For incoming students from 176 partner universities around the world, the FH Kufstein Tyrol offers a special study programme, the "International Programme".

Special features regarding research and developmentAs part of the students' mandatory practical projects, the students work independently with the academic supervisors in small groups (up to 10 participants) to answer current research questions from business practice. Select students may also participate in scientific research projects of the programme.

Support for foundersInformation about and preparation for setting up a business and/or company takeovers is one of the key contents of the course. Students will independently prepare business plans and analyse business models. As part of a 3 month project, students develop and implement their own business ideas and present them in a competition. There are also regular guest lectures, founder consultations and assistance with the participation in founder competitions.
