    Students can take a semester abroad: in the Bachelor's, in the practical semester; in the Master's, as part of the Master's thesis.

    The department has a high-quality innovation workshop. It has its own laboratory area with access to production equipment such as 3D printers and scanners, a laser cutter, a cutting plotter, a CNC milling machine, an electronics workstation and appropriate design software.

    In the context of research projects, Carinthia's first innovation prepares trend analyses, develops ideas and concepts, creates business models and develops solutions based on prototyping.
